You'll be able to select your character's appearance when you initially create them. Equipment such as weapons, clothing, and head wear will also change the appearance of your character. Our intention is to provide a variety of options to prevent having a ton of clones running around. :)

There's been some ideas floating around about hairstyle and facial hair changes (i.e. creating a "Barber" skill/profession), but we're a little way off from that point.

PotBS uses a "Tailors Shop" which is pretty much a repeat of the character creation screen to allow you to change your hair, clothes etc....

They also use it as the way you acess clothing quest rewards ie for the Officer class getting your Midshipmans, Leiutenants etc.... uniform coats.
