What Kind of Western Are We Looking At Here?

Are we looking at a Wild, Wild West, with some steam punk style machines (giant mechanical spiders), and Indians w/Shamanistic powers...or are we looking at an Authentic western experience? What about hidden valleys with dinosaurs or secret underground citys of futuristic people who kill everyone older than 30 to prevent over crowding?
Will there be traveling Kung-Fu Monks?

Phoenix is an authentic
Phoenix is an authentic recreation of what it was to live in the 1800s, with some creative license. By "Creative License" I mean, we're spanning an entire century's worth of time into one game. You'll likely see characters in the game based on history who did not live during the same time frame. However, their backgrounds and history will reflect real life.
Likewise, your surroundings will be based on history as well as stories and movies we come to think of when we think of the Old West.
There will be no steam powered spiders, nor will Will Smith make an appearance. :)

Was just wondering. I'm surprised there hasn't been at least one released attempt at a Western MMORPG before now, it seems like such a good choice for fun, a natural for PvP (gun fighters!) and for economic stuff too, being a merchant or gold miner, etc.
