How do I get started...or sign up...or even see the game?

This might be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find any information on seeing this game. I can see where servers are up, there are people playing...but I don't see any way to get started.

Hi lizardbones, thanks for stopping by!
Phoenix is still in development, and currently in closed testing by the developers. The server status you see below is our development environment. An announcement of closed beta will come later this year.
Stay tuned! We'll have more information in the coming weeks.

I think that you should take paid applications for the closed beta. You might as well capitalize on the hype! Hell, I pay $5 for iphone games that get boring after 20 minutes and never get updated. I'd pay $20 for a game that I've been having dreams of since 1999!
I'll note your suggestion. ;)
I'll note your suggestion. ;) However, we don't have any kind of billing systems in place yet, we're just focused on the core game and the engine these days.
We appreciate your continued interest tho! It's taking us much longer than originally anticipated, but we're only a small group, and we appreciate all feedback and visitors to the site.
Anticipation overload
From what i've read lads, this looks like a brilliant enterprise and concept. considering This genre is my absolute favourite and is the major topic for majority of my short stories and art pieces, i'm overly energetic about it's open beta.
Keep up the good work mates, Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks for the kind words. We're just as excited about it. Development has slowed, but definitely NOT stopped. I'm actively looking for people to help with the project to move the timeline along a bit faster. The server code is, for the most part, complete for the current phase of development. We're working on the client now.
