Hardly...such a task would be impossible solo. We're a small team, all with day jobs, hence the delays.

Im also looking forward to something playable, even if its really ugly. i've been in on some early test phases and theres even still fun to be had at the earliest parts. Still i check back here daily.. as my mouth waters at the thought of this game.

Im hoping to own the highed LEVELED character, lol j/k... I ALWAYS enjoy the community aspect of a game more than actually playing it.

You'll have the same "level" character as everyone else (we don't have "levels"). ;)

so if not useing levelled chars are you going to base chars on experience earned like tradeskills for example or abillites?

In a nutshell: Your abilities are determined by the skill points you spend in a particular area. Skill points are earned by gaining (and then spending) experience in the skill. You earn experience by using the skill.

Example skills:

Weapon Use (sub-skills: pistols, rifles, hand-to-hand...)
Crafting (sub-skills: weapons, ammunition, clothing, transportation...)
Husbandry (sub-skills: horses, farm animals...)

I'm looking forward to playing a game that makes me feel like I do when reading Louis L'Amour novels. I'm so sick of sci fi and fantasy games.
