What do you hate most about being a new player?

Everyone starts out every game that is currently existing as a level 1 "blah". Some games are really hard to understand where to get started, and while others make you repeat the same newbie quests over and over again until you don't enjoy making new characters anymore.
How would you obtain a happy medium, and what makes it happy?
Also, what are the three things you can't stand about new player areas?
What do you hate most about being a new player?
I actually like the ones that start you off on kinda a "newb island" or something. Like EQ2, and SWG. They get you familiar with the controls, how to get quests, how to use the map and your head to get to the next quest, and there's the option to skip the island to get right into it.
I tried City of Heroes/Villains for the first time last night, and when I leveled up the first time, it said go to a trainer.........had no idea where a trainer was, nor was one on the map - it kinda bothered me as I didn't know if I was supposed to be somewhere else, or do more missions. One of the easiest things in an mmo should be finding the person you need to level up, cause darn was it frustrating.
A good tutorial is always great for us people who don't spend time reading the manual until much later :)
What do you hate most about being a new player?
Worst things as a newbie:
1) Complicated start area, where it's hard to find where you are supposed to go
2) Being FORCED to go through a tutorial to get basic equipment and skills, though having that same tutorial is a must for those who want and/or need it
3) Not having a good quest or storyline to start out with. I hate the idea that I have to grind for a few weeks before being able to "play" with others.
What do you hate most about being a new player?
Not having enough to do. Hate being a noob who can only do one thing. kill some noobie mobs and be bored. Nice to get a little taste of a few aspects of the game before i really commit to getting rid of my noob status.

at the moment im tryin pirates of the burning seas beta on till jan 1st very big game nice enviroments but bit complicated on the building side of things cant free roam you got set areas to run to and the swashbuckling side of the game is complete crap compared to eq2 which in my opionis a benchmark on this type of gameing

I've already been thru EQ2 and got bored as can be. My ideal game would be like the old SWG with the quests and content of EQ2 and WoW.

this isnt about being a n00b but i hate when your a high lvl and a n00b comes up to you and says CAN I HAVE 1G
Like in WoW:
N00b: Can i have some gold
Player: No
N00b: PLEASEEEEEEEi need for milk
player: go get some
n00b: i cant be bothered
*Player puts N00b on ignore*
