ASP.Net: Why I like it
I took as class in ASP.Net last week, and I liked it so much, I changed my web hosting to a company that allows me to use all of the different .Net Frameworks. As a lazy human being, I admire the ability to "do things" with less work. I can put together a single template and use it on every page, with a specific content block available for child pages.
I can link to a database, and draw in data with drags, drops and code. I can have my data displayed in any which way I want.

The Flu, Training and Hopes
So I think I mentioned that my husband was sick last week. Well he decided to be kind and give me his illness. So I have my temperature going up and down and a bad bronchitis like thing attacking me. At the same time, I'm taking this class on ASP.net. I really like it so far, and I think I'm going to use it to apply to some personal projects I work on from time to time.
I am hoping that I'll have some time this week to review all the old content I had put together. I want to make some tweaks to it, and maybe work on some more storyline/quest type deals.

Fridays at Work
So, Fridays at work are usually blissfully peaceful. No one really expects you to work right?
WRONG!
Sadly, I had a ton of work to do, and I'm not sure I got it all done before I left. Oh well. It'll be there for me when I get back from training.
Otherwise, I tend to love Fridays. They're the day you can finally feel that freedom of the weekend pass into you. You realize you don't have to go to bed early, and you don't have to get up early. You can stay up and write, and then read late into the morning in bed.

Coming Soon...stories?!
So I've decided that we should put together a few old-west style stories online to get your blood pumping about Phoenix. I need to put together the basic content area, and then start the first story.
I'm trying to decide between a short story about a family that moves out west (no, it won't be house on the prairie or anything NEAR that), a rogue cowboy, a saloon owner, or a story about a small city.

Prairie's First Blog
First, I apologize if I rant. I'm a writer by heart so I tend to rant quite a bit.
In case you didn't see some of the information before, I thought I'd share a little about who I am, what's my relationship to this project, and why it's so hard to see me right now.
