It's Monday night, and I'm patchin'

It's Monday night, and I'm singing the patching song; Patching, patching, patching, patching, patching all night long, patching, patching, patching, patching, singin' the patchin' song!
OK, I'm no singer/songwriter. I'll stick to code. ;) Garage Games released their final version of TGEA v1.7.0 on Saturday. There's lots of goodies to be had in the new version. Coming in at a whopping 160mb (compressed), I know what I'll be doing for the next few evenings.
The web site once again has a "private messaging" feature. I'll be replying to messages that were left for me over on the old forums. I know - I'm terrible at getting back to people. Please be patient with me.
We're also looking at different web site themes for Drupal. The nice thing about Drupal is we can change the look and feel of the site without affecting the content. If we were really bored (who has time for that?) we could change the look of the site almost daily. There's a new poll on the site - let us know what you think of our current look!

Patchin'
The patchin song in the key of E? I can hear it now :) Put it to the likes of Rawhide and you might be on to something.
Wish I had more time to put into helping out with some part of developing a game instead of spending all the time playing. Damn SWG and its addicting ways.
Actually, for some reason I
Actually, for some reason I had the "Elmo Song" stuck in my head when I wrote that. So, I blame both my tired brain and Sesame Street for the song. :)
It's definitely more fun to play a game than make one. As a player, you have the wonderful "discovery phase" of a new game where you're finding things for the first time, taking on new challenges, and exploring zones you've never been in. We get to look at the same things over and over again until they work properly. ;)
However, we'll be needing play-testers eventually. If you're willing to deal with the occasional engine crash, development-quality graphics, running through the same mission chains repeatedly, and can endure repeated player wipes, I'll knock on your door once we're ready. :)
Testing 1 2
I'd be offended if you didn't ask for some testing :)
After grinding a few characters in multiple MMO's, I'm pretty sure I can endure obscene amount of redundancies & repetition these days lol
And looking forward to it.
You may regret those words..
You may regret those words.. muhahaha ;)
never know
nah, pointing out other's mistakes is fun lol
Ouch! Touché!
Ouch! Touché! :D

Oh yes, I can see regret already starting!
